RETAIL SALES ASSOCIATE

 What You’ll Do 

·       Assist customers with chemical sales, water testing, accessory and parts sales, and more in our showroom.

·       Answer phones and direct calls to the appropriate person.

·       Create and maintain service and sales files.

·       Decorate the showroom for special events.

·       Perform daily cleaning tasks as per the “Retail Cleaning Schedule.”

·       Communicate with customers and troubleshooting issues on the phone and in-store.

·       Prepare, execute, and follow through on vinyl pool re-liner quotes.

·       Organize and label brochures related to the sales department.

·       Enhance merchandising and store presentation as needed.

·       Assist sales and service departments, including preparation and execution of mailings.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

·       In-person, on-site work at our Charlottesville, Virginia store at 3275 Berkmar Drive.

·       Strong customer service skills.

·       Ability to multitask and stay focused in a fast-paced environment.

·       Polite, friendly, and respectful demeanor towards customers and colleagues.

·       Attention to detail and organizational skills.

·       Previous retail experience is a plus.

·       Full-time availability Monday through Saturday, 9am to 6pm, with one weekday off; and one Saturday off per month.

·       Willingness to adapt to changes in the company’s growth and take on new responsibilities.

·       Must be able to lift 35 lbs.

Sales Professional

About Us:

Charlottesville Aquatics is a dynamic retail company committed to providing exceptional service to our clients. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated Sales Professional to join our team.

In this role, you will not only sell high-quality hot tubs, pools, game tables and billiards tables but also contribute to the development and analysis of our marketing strategies. Your dedication and success in this position will directly impact the growth and profitability of our business.

 What You’ll Do 

·       Engage with customers both in person and over the phone to showcase and sell our exceptional spas and billiards tables.

·       Upsell and cross-sell accessory items to enhance the customers’ spa and billiards experience.

·       Maintain accurate logs of sold hot tubs and game tables, as well as those in inventory and delivered.

·       Collaborate with our team to develop and implement effective marketing strategies.

·       Contribute to the planning and execution of spa and billiards table advertising campaigns.

·       Organize and manage spa and table mailing lists and referral programs using computer systems.

·       Establish and maintain a structured lead follow–up program to maximize sales opportunities.

·       Stay informed about the latest industry trends, particularly regarding Watkins Manufacturing and Brunswick Products, our trusted partners.

·       Assist customers with technical inquiries, providing guidance on spa operation, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.

·       Coordinate hot tub deliveries and ensure excellent customer service throughout the process.

·       Maintain a clean and inviting spa display area, regularly testing and maintaining proper chemical balance.

Hours Monday – Friday 10:00 am – 6 pm*

Saturday – 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

*We close one hour early from mid-October through mid-April.

 Job Requirements and Qualifications

·       In-person, on-site work at our Charlottesville, Virginia store at 3275 Berkmar Drive.

·       Ability to travel to locations in Charlottesville and surrounding counties. Employee must provide their own transportation.

·       Previous experience in sales, within the spa and/or billiards industry, is ideal but not required.

·       Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

·       Strong professional customer service orientation with a genuine passion for helping people.

·       Excellent organizational abilities to maintain accurate records and manage multiple tasks.

·       Proficiency in computer systems and willingness to learn new software.

·       A self-motivated approach to achieving sales targets.

·       Knowledge or willingness to learn about water care products and their usage.
