Are you passionate about sales and looking for an exciting opportunity in the pool, spa, and billiards industry? At Charlottesville Aquatics, we are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our retail team as a Spa and Billiard Salesperson. In this role, you will not only sell high-quality hot tubs, pools, game tables, and billiards tables but also contribute to the development and analysis of our marketing strategies. Your dedication and success in this position will directly impact the growth and profitability of our business.

What You’ll Do

  • Engage with customers both in person and over the phone to showcase and sell our exceptional spas and billiards tables.
  • Upsell and cross-sell accessory items to enhance the customers’ spa and billiards experience.
  • Maintain accurate logs of sold hot tubs and game tables, as well as those in inventory and delivered.
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement effective marketing strategies.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of spa and billiards table advertising campaigns.
  • Organize and manage spa and table mailing lists and referral programs using computer systems.
  • Establish and maintain a structured lead follow-up program to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Stay informed about the latest industry trends, particularly regarding Watkins Manufacturing and Brunswick Products, our trusted partners.
  • Assist customers with technical inquiries, providing guidance on spa operation, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate hot tub deliveries and ensure excellent customer service throughout the process.
  • Maintain a clean and inviting spa display area, regularly testing and maintaining proper chemical balance.

Hours

Monday – Friday 10:00 am – 6 pm

Saturday – 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

*We close one hour early from mid-October through mid-April.

Job Requirements

  • In-person, on-site work at our Charlottesville, Virginia store at 3275 Berkmar Drive.
  • Ability to travel to customer locations throughout central Virginia. Employee must provide their own transportation.
  • Previous experience in sales, within the spa and/or billiards industry, is ideal but not required.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong professional customer service orientation with a genuine passion for helping people.
  • Excellent organizational abilities to maintain accurate records and manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and willingness to learn new software.
  • A self-motivated approach to achieving sales targets.
  • Knowledge or willingness to learn about water care products and their usage.
